Folly Farm is at Begelly, near Kilgetty, north of Saundersfoot and Tenby, and it takes around 500,000 visits a year — which makes it one of the busiest visitor attractions in Wales.
It started as a farm attraction and grew. It is now four things on one site: a zoo with over 200 species, an indoor vintage funfair, extensive indoor and outdoor adventure play, and the original farm.
That combination is why families spend a whole day here rather than the two or three hours a zoo of this size would otherwise justify.
